There is much hype around about the technology surrounding Big Data & Analytics with little focus on the business opportunity and how deep analytics for big data can increase customer care and product quality, leading to higher profitability, loyalty, and reputation.
In this session we will firstly focus the reality of creating Business Intelligence from big data and analytics and showing through case studies the results that can be achieved.
As part of addressing the practicality of Big Data & Analytics we will cover how 'Completing the Loop' of improving data, analytics, processes, procedures and results is a continual process in itself.
The session will then continue looking at 'Big Data and the Cloud', the practicality of running Big Data & Analytics within a cloud or hybrid environment.
This will be followed with presentations on 'Big Data and the Law', the legal implications of what is stored, where it is stored and the responsibilities of user and datacenter/cloud owner.
